Upon completion of a thorough process to analyze the best strategic opportunities for the Group’s future development, the parent company’s board of directors ratified the decision to join the network of companies of Nippon Express Group, a leading international player in logistics and transportation with important operations, relationships and contacts in the “Lifestyle” segment, through a sale and purchase agreement of Tramo SA shares to Nippon Express Italia S.p.A.
The desired acquisition is expected to be finalized by November 2, 2023
This transaction represents an extremely important step for Tramo and Nippon Express Group: there are numerous synergies that can be captured through the combination of the two entities and the sharing of their know-how, given the unique and complementary resources of the two companies.
This agreement marks an important turning point in the history of both organizations and consolidates Tramo’s leadership position in the U.S. and European markets by opening up extraordinary opportunities in new markets.
